Laboratory of modified concrete and building materials
The studies of the carbon nanomaterial influence on cement and gypsum composition properties are carried out in the laboratory. We developed production technology of heavy concrete and foamed concrete modified by carbon nanomaterials with improved performance characteristics.
The main research directions for heavy concrete
- methods to introduce additives in concrete mixtures were developed;
- nanoadditives influence on cement properties was detected;
- nanoadditives influence on concrete mixtures rheology was studied;
- physical and technical properties of high-strength heavy concrete were identified;
- technology features of high-strength concrete with nanoadditives were determined.
The main research directions for foamed concrete
- methods to introduce additives in foamed concrete were developed;
- nanoadditives influence on foam formation was studied;
- nanoadditives influence on molding compound properties and foamed concrete structure formation were researched;
- physical and technical properties of foamed concrete were identified;
- technology features of foamed concrete with nanoadditives were determined.
In progress
Nowadays the laboratory is carrying out research on production of hardening accelerators plasticizing additives and additives which increase concrete strength, based on carbon nanomaterials.
